The Central Council of the Maronite Societies members and the ladies committee went for a visit to the presidential palace in Baabda on the 13th of july 2009 where His Exellency president Michel Suleiman and the first lady welcomed them. In this occasion, sheikh Wadih el Khazen presented to H.E. President Suleiman on behalf of the Executive Office, the Gold Medal of the Maronite Central Council.
