Lebanese
President HE General Michel Aoun and Prime Minister Saad Hariri were present at
St. Maron’s Church in Gemmayze, in the heart of Beirut on Thursday 9 February,
where they attended the Mass celebrated on this official holiday in Lebanon.
The Divine
Office was celebrated by the Maronite Archbishop of Beirut, HE Bishop Boulos
Matar.
Many officials and diplomats have also made
were present. The ceremony was conducted under close supervision of the
Lebanese armed forces. A helicopter overflew the sector at the arrival of the
Head of State.
