The general assembly of the Maronite Central Council has elected HE Cheikh
Wadih el-Khazen as President, Me Emile Makhlouf as Vice-President, Messrs.
Antoine Kyrillos, Michel Comaty, Roland Ghostine, Michel Matta and Antoine
Ramia to the Executive Board for a period of three years.
After the elections, a Mass of Thanksgiving celebrated by Mgr Boulos
Matar, Maronite Archbishop of Beirut, in the presence of Bishop Ivan Santus,
Chargé d’Affaires at the Apostolic Nunciature, gathered the voters in the new
chapel of the Council.
